We had a great stay at Baywatch Resort. It was clean inside and out and the staff was friendly and helpful. The beach is well kept and had plenty of chairs. They also have beach toys that kids can use.We had one of the petite king rooms with a balcony. It is small, but all we needed. The view was spectacular! I had seen in other reviews that the shower could be slippery. They do have rubber shower mats available at the desk if you ask, so we did. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We really enjoyed staying there and hope to return! The only downside is that the location isn't walkable to downtown or restaurants.

Absolutely disgusting room. The photos of this place make it seem like a full blown “resort”, but they need to remove resort from their name completely. When we first checked in, staff asked for a payment & scanned my card. The individual at the front desk said there was an error & asked for my card back. I told him to stand by while I checked my account, which showed the payment had processed. He told me he would have to go get his manager & will try running the payment again. I told him he was not scanning my card a 2nd time, & the error must be on their end. He finally stopped arguing with me in front of other guests. Walked outside after arriving, dead bugs EVERYWHERE. You can see more bugs than cement; Why would a resort not leaf blow the bugs away from walking/sitting areas every morning? Was enjoying a bonfire near the seating area & went to the restroom inside the lobby. They were out of paper towels, so we notified the front desk. Staff member Sam, told us we should just “go use the other one” … The room itself was not the cleanest, & they told us “cleaning is a specialty request”. The last night of our trip, while on the beach watching the sunset, we came back to a room COVERED in bugs. Front desk staff was very rude & sarcastic; gave us a new room, but insinuated WE caused the issue. There are plaques everywhere telling you about the bugs, we would never leave the door open to the back patio other than opening it to enter & immediately closing afterwards. Staff: Absolutely 0 stars, Most of these individuals should not be in hospitality. Breakfast: 1 star, Do not waste your time, just go get brunch elsewhere. NO protein options, strictly waffles, bagels, & very little fruit. Overall: 1 star, They could do SO much better.

My wife and I stayed for our anniversary and had a great time. The staff was helpful, the fitness room was clean and well equipped, our room was comfortable and the jacuzzi specifically was GREAT. Our view and walkout slider to the beach front was so convenient and made watching the sunrise easy. The beach was clean and had plenty of space to relax. Breakfast had the iconic waffle maker that worked great as well as a good selection of other breakfast foods/beverages.

I have enjoyed this hotel a couple of times now, it’s always super clean and staff are very friendly and accommodating. We got a late check out with no problems or charges. I called the front desk to ask for a wine bottle opener and they were at my door with it in hand almost as fast as I hung up the phone. Spa tubs are equipped with jet bubblers and very relaxing. Very impressed for such an affordable nightly rate!

We’ve stayed at Baywatch Resort multiple times over the years, and every single visit has been a great experience. That consistency is a big part of why we chose them to host our wedding guests this coming June—and so far, they’ve been absolutely wonderful to work with. The hotel is always spotless, which immediately puts you at ease. It’s clear that cleanliness and attention to detail are a priority here. The staff is consistently friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, making each stay feel comfortable and stress-free. The location is truly gorgeous and adds so much to the overall experience. It’s the kind of place that makes your trip feel special the moment you arrive. We especially want to recognize Duke Rosendahl, who has been an absolute gem throughout our wedding planning process. From our very first interaction, he has been kind, responsive, and incredibly helpful. He’s gone above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of for our hotel block, and has made what could be a stressful process feel easy and seamless. We feel completely confident that our guests are going to love their stay, thanks in large part to his care and attention. Overall, we are so impressed with this entire operation—from the sales manager to the day-to-day staff. It’s clear that this team truly cares about their guests and takes pride in what they do. We’re grateful to be working with them for such an important occasion and would highly recommend Baywatch Resort/Beach Haus to anyone looking for a beautiful, welcoming, and well-run place to stay.

I cant wait to come back to The Baywatch Resort in the summer. Even when its iced over, its beautiful. When I checked in, Mikaila was awesome. She took her time...she visited with me. Recommended Bubbas Burgers for supper. Sent me a text to check on me after I went to the room. And I believe it was Michael that later checked to make sure my heat was working because Im from the South and not as tough as they are. It was. I feel like Ive known them for years. Wonder experience.

It was clean, quiet, front desk staff was very nice and helpful. They deliver breakfast to your room. We had to leave earlier than the times offered but they were willing to send breakfast at a convenient time for us

We loved the option of a double King room for the variety of family we had. It made staying in one room more comfortable. Breakfast delivered to our room each morning was a bonus. We will be back - and recommend to others.

Even at night the view of Grand Traverse bay is amazing. With bad weather (snow and ice storm) and needing to work in Traverse the next day, I opted to say in town. The staff was so friendly and got me set up for the night. Free breakfast in the morning before work and a clean room to stay in. I highly recommended staying here.

Complementary water and snacks are just part of the splendor associated with our stay at the Baywatch Hotel. The beds are comfortable and the view of the bay from the balcony was splendid even in winter. The shower had a strong spray with hot water ? There is a large workout room on the second floor with a coffee station too! Breakfast is Complementary but somewhat different. There is no dining room. Breakfast is limited to a small menu that is picked from the night before and hung on the room door at whatever time the occupant chooses. I may still have it and if I do I'll post a photo of the menu. Keep in mind to that if you have difficulty with standing in the shower they may have a shower chair and a suction cup bar for the wall that can be asked for and used by anyone needing it. This hotel is also not horribly far from the hospital.
