In general, the staff were very rude. We have stayed here for years, but this will be our last stay. The lady at the front desk seemed frustrated, rolled her eyes and in a condescending voice said the boys in the pool area were making gang signs. I was in the lobby, checked and they were signing 6/7. Accusations of this nature should be made with certainty. Additionally, the room was dusty with cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. The breakfast had limited options which consisted of packaged food. Our food was not delivered within the selected time. The showerhead/lack of water pressure was an issue.

Great service, friendly staff, beds were comfortable and the pillows were top tier! The pool and hot tub were large, and clean! beautiful view of lake Michigan. Breakfast is served in individual boxes directly to your door in the morning. I do wish there were more hot meal options for breakfast, or moree options in general. I wish they had the standard continental breakfast, even if they kept it small. We plan on returning in the summer. Very cozy, very family friendly!

They don't care to be very well set up for day pass use. If you do sign up for this note the bands really don't work for the towels nor for food. Had to go back up to front desk 3 times and never got it resolved, even after a talking to the supervisor. Made the first hour a bit of a negative experience, fortunately the water park was a great experience AFTER we finally got towels and foo no thanks to the bands which were supposedly the chargeable kind, my recommendation just use your card and ask for a towel voucher.. Frank the towel guy was great fun and very kind!

Even though the rooms are a little dated and the shower's pressure is sparser than one would like, the bed is super comfy and the staff are A+! We also loved that we could chose our breakfast and breakfast delivery time...much nicer than having to get dressed and eat in front of strangers who are still in their pajamas. The view from our room was wonderful, as well!

This hotel is absolutely perfect! We have an upper story room with a balcony facing Lake Michigan and a beautiful beach. Our room is very clean and modern, we even have an extra sink, a microwave and fridge. In the mornings they will bring a continental breakfast to your room! The scenery is beautiful especially if you drive about a half hour from the hotel, the fall foliage is gorgeous at Crystal Mountain. I highly recommend this hotel/resort if you want to see some beautiful fall foliage and a nice downtown area. We have nothing negative to say!!!

Overall, a great hotel and prices were excellent for having a big group. Hot tub and pool 24 hours with quiet time at 10. Delivered extra pillows and blankets to our room and front desk women were very kind and helpful both AM and PM. The beach in the front is really nice, especially with kids and needing something fun to entertain them with (entirely sand, peppered with shells) My only complaint is that the pull out couch that we used in our room was absolutely miserable. Even for kids, its so springy and thin that its nearly impossible to get comfortable on.

This was our first time up north in MI. Wonderful little hotel. Everyone was super friendly. Texted me to make sure everything was in order. Rooms were clean, comfortable and we'll stocked. Shower could use a good deep clean but other than that, no complaints at all. Its right in the lake with beach access. We also enjoyed the breakfast delivery each morning! Highly recommend!
