I loved staying here! The ambiance was relaxed and comfortable - there was plenty to do on the grounds if you wanted to stay in and it’s close enough to a lot of awesome places if you’re looking to go somewhere! The staff were all very kind and friendly. If I find myself back in the area, I’d love to stay here again.

It’s been said that “There’s no place like home.” It’s true! There’s no place like Brookside; it feels so much like home away from home! From the calm, inviting lake to the cozy, intimate cabins, Brookside just ‘feels’ good. Whether you choose to explore the lake on a paddle board or kayak and/or experience the tranquility of the creek that flows into it, you are sure to make memories that will last. But the lake isn’t the only place to make memories at Brookside… Spend time in the game room, swim in the pool or soak in the hot tub. In the evening, tell stories around a campfire with a smore before heading into your private cabin, each of which is uniquely different with a story of its own to tell. Speaking of stories, create a Brookside story of your own. The moments spent here become memories you will have and hold for the rest of your life. Can’t wait to go back!

What an incredible find! Duck Lake Landing with each bedroom named accordingly. Lots of room without bumping into to each other and everyone had a bed to themselves. We had 11- 60+ women enjoying the true comforts of a lake "cottage" for a long weekend. Property Manger Kurt was a joy to work with. Definitely would recommend to others.

Amazing experience perfect for groups or families of all ages! Staff were very helpful in making it the best vacation for us possible. Our cottage was quaint and cozy with numerous amenities just steps away. Great location with views and access to duck lake and Traverse City only 20 minute drive away.

Gosh I love this place. I recently vacationed at Brookside and I had such a wonderful time. Kurt was amazing to work with , he was always kind and answered all my questions. My cottage was absolutely adorable and super clean. They rent pontoons, kayaks , stand up paddle boards and more . It was also super quiet. It was everything I wanted and more. Thank you Kurt for your great Hospitality.
