Cold Creek Inn offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere with consistently positive feedback on its food and friendly service, particularly from the owner, Felix. Recent guests have praised the cleanliness and spacious rooms, making it a popular spot for travelers. However, some reviews mention inconsistencies in food quality and occasional service delays.
The owner's were more than accommodating! Food was absolutely amazing as well! Talking shop with the owner, I made mention of our original reservation down the road that had fallen through and he handed us a key to a room! Owner invited us to coffee at his shop, "Keep on grinding coffee house"! Absolutely an amazing star alignment situation to say the least!
Great food. Never have had a bad meal at Cold Creek. The staff is always friendly and fun to be around .
The food was overcooked and way under seasoned, the menu is mostly frozen or reheated food served way past the expiration date, where's the health department when you need them? If you're going to charge top dollar at least the dishes from scratch. I do not recommend Cold Creek Inn on your travels.
Great atmosphere. Good food but don’t order a pizza, it’s really a flat bread over priced no sauce just splashed. Everything is great but pizza is a over priced flat bread
My family and I decided to try the Cold Creek Inn on a cold Sunday afternoon. We were immediately greeted by their wonderful host Felix. Felix made us feel so welcome and was a joy to be served by. My wife and I had the loaded Tots, two cups of their excellent coffee and we both had the Cold Creek Burger with Sweet Potato Fries. Our Daughter had the Chicken Tenders and Fries. Felix was such a friendly and happy server he is a true credit to the business. The food was quick and wonderful, everything tasted great. I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of service we received. Felix has earned yall a regular family that will visit this wonderful local spot. Thank you Felix for being such a warm and wonderful host on such a cold and frigid day. Merry Christmas.
My husband & I are rarely happy with our food. The atmosphere, service & food is amazing here. I highly recommend it, & If we come back up here in the summer we will for sure be stopping at Cold Creek inn again. It is super clean as well. Loved it! We did not stay at the hotel, I wouldn't be afraid to, if I needed a room.
The food is outstanding. The wings are magnificent. French dip, Steak Hoagie, and the Reuben rank the best we have had. Highly recommend.
Maybe it was an off night, but our Saturday supper at Cold Creek was disappointing. Service was very slow. We sat for 25 minutes after being seated before our server came to the table -- after we had asked another server for assistance. The lasagna was meh -- sweet, watery tomato sauce on layers of pasta with little meat. Chef Boyardee has more flavor. Steak salad was just OK. Of the four dessert choices, only one was available. Overpriced and underwhelming.
My boys and I stayed here as we visited Sleeping Bear Dunes and the surrounding area. The entire motel was well taken care of, clean, and our room was very spacious! Everyone on staff was welcoming and friendly. We had everything we needed and I personally loved all the flowers and personal touches (books, chalk, doughnuts, etc.)
Stayed here on our way home, room was small, but cozy. Had dinner at the bar, pizza was really good. You have to check in at the bar and when we left no one was there to give our key to, luckily a lady that works there was walking in when we were leaving, apprently you can leave the key in the room... one outlet worked to charge our phones and another outlet was half in the wall.. bed wasn't bad. We were there over the holiday, but not worth the price we paid.
