The Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Traverse City receives mixed reviews, with some guests praising its convenient location, friendly staff, and comfortable beds. However, significant concerns have been raised regarding cleanliness, maintenance issues (broken hot tub and plumbing problems), and inconsistent service, including billing errors and room availability issues. Recent feedback suggests a decline in property standards.
I’ve been to this hotel twice with no where else to go and each time they have saved me. The rooms are nice, clean good to lay your head in. The front desk worker was really accommodating and nice, very helpful. I reccomend this hotel to anyone looking for a stay in traverse city.
Great Hotel with nice room, good customer service and a good breakfast. The room was good size. There were a couple of small issues that we reported to them and they apologized and said they would fix them right away. The location was convenient and quiet. I would stay again and recommend it.
Went to check in a few weeks ago and as soon as we shut the door we seen this cockroach ?. Room had a bad smell and there was stains on the ceiling and walls. We had stayed here a few times in prior years with no issues but this place has definitely went down hill.
Worst experience , I drove 3 hours away just to get told my room was no longer available and they gave it away , and said they were all booked , and tried sending me to a motel ,did not even tried contacting me days in advanced and did NOT want to fully refund me my money only HALF.. not professional at all! Lost me as a costumer ??????
The Hotel is nice, but 1 thing really pissed me off. The 11 signs telling me not to take my SS Yeti into the pool and hot tub area, or I'll be banned. I always book a hotel with a hot tub so that I can have a drink and relax for 15 minutes.
What a great disappointment. Unless you like a headache from the smell of Fabreeze. Carpets were absolutely disgusting both in the room and in the hallways. Mold on the bathroom ceiling. Did not sleep well because of the must. Website stated duel queen beds, but we received 1 full and 1 queen sized. The breakfast was disguising. Didn’t feel safe around the hotel. Would’ve rather slept my family in the car at a random parking lot. DO NOT STAY HERE!
What started out to be a nice stay was ruined by the lack of a manager on site to help with a payment issue. I was notified by my credit card company that I was charged twice. I went to the front desk before I left to fix the issue. Since I booked my stay with Booking.com I was told that happens often, probably just pending and will resolve itself. No one even looked in the computer and no manager. On my vacation I called the desk three times. First time i called I was told yes I was charged twice and someone would fix it that night. That didn’t happen. Second call I was told to call back the next day to talk to a manager. Next day I called at 8:30 am and was told the manager was in meetings all day and not available. If this company is actually paying someone to be the manager they aren’t doing the job. I am now looking at other options.
I stayed at this hotel for two nights and paid over 300 dollars per night, which felt completely overpriced for what we got. The room was never cleaned during our stay and the faucet was broken because the filter kept falling out. The carpet in some areas felt slightly damp all the time, which was really unpleasant. Since we were on the ground floor our room faced the parking lot and the windows were not tinted. There was one curtain that blocked everything out but made the room really dark. There was also a second curtain that let in some light but anyone outside could see straight in. I understand that prices can depend on supply and demand but for this amount of money you would expect a much better experience. I left disappointed and cannot recommend this hotel.
Location seems a little sketch. Rooms and service were great. Pool and massive hot tub were great and were open until midnight! No kids after 10 p.m. in pool area. Nice little hidden gem at good price
Honestly. For the price…10/10. Everything was clean. The beds were surprisingly comfy. The breakfast was slightly different each day which was since. The hotel staff is very friendly and knowledge. I felt safe as a solo female traveler. It’s got a great convenient location, super close to downtown but also super close to get to the outskirts.
