I’ve been meaning to review this amazing gem in Frankfort. We booked a room in the lodge very last minute on a weekday in September. This place is so charming. It’s so well cared for. Clean. Quality furnishings. Very kind staff. Being able to sit outside at night and enjoy the views was wonderful. I will absolutely be back.

The best birthday getaway hands down! My boyfriend and I stayed at this resort and I couldn’t be happier with everything this resort had to offer! We stayed in an apartment lodge which was up the hill, connected to the main building. It was super breezy, no AC needed at all (they did have a ceiling fan) and had the most perfect view to wake up to! They have their own private beach overlooking Crystal Lake (super clean and crystal clear) which is just a short walk away from the main building and located below the resort with paddle boards & kayaks free to use as well. They also had a pickleball court and provided all the equipment as well. Super quiet, a short drive to town if you want to tour around. Family that owns the resort are very hands on, welcoming, and sweet. You can tell they take pride in making sure their guests enjoy their stay. They provide breakfast and have your regular tea, coffee, and water station available as well. The Monday we were there, there was a bbq for the guests which apparently is a tradition for every Monday. They were super accommodating and were able to add us on to their guest list very last minute. Only thing was the screen to one of the windows was broken on our last night and there were flies all over the room (on the walls mostly). It wasn’t a big deal, we had just left the light on in the bathroom overnight to attract them and had notified the owners during checkout. I would most likely come back next summer, what more could you as for —- private beach w amenities, beautiful lodges, delicious food, lots of shops nearby, and a cute town to walk around!

An amazing third generation property in one of the most beautiful places in the world. A fantastic spot to go with family and friends to truly get away from it all. The quintessential crystal lake cottage that is accessible to everyone. Get your spot early as they go fast, once you stay here you will understand why.

Clean Clean Clean! Perfect location, beautiful beach. We used the kayaks, tennis court and the grill. Went for a walk to a place on their trail map called "the view" and it was indescribable. We stayed in a Lakeview apartment. The lake is absolutely beautiful.

Just returned home from Chimney Corners. Our family of 10 stayed in the Woodsmere cottage. It is rustic and charming. Service was good. We needed additional bedding and towels and they were delivered promptly. We all agreed beds were very comfortable. Beautiful view of the lake. Only downside, was the Ironman race was taking place and we had to depart earlier than normal. But, that doesn't affect our review. Would highly recommend.

We had the pleasure of staying at one of the best retreat spots on Crystal Lake. The view was amazing from our window. The location was great as well. Pretty much closes to everything. The scenic drive around the lake was breathtaking. Overall, it was good experience.

It doesn't get better than Chimney Corners. I have been going here since I was a kid and every year can't wait to go back. The perfect balance of relaxing, comfortable and great attention to detail. Cabins are stocked with everything you may need and if you need more they always have it. Such a great family feel throughout the resort. They have firewood already chopped for you to grab. Kayaks for rent, a row boat, long boards. The sunsets are unforgettable and the memories you'll cherish forever. Having a bonfire with loved ones just overlooking the lake...what's better than that!? Hands down my favorite place in the United States. Good for families or a friends getaway or just a couples retreat. Book now, you won't regret it.
