Had a lovely stay at Mitchell Creek Inn. The kitchenette room was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. We brought our dog and it worked out great. The creek running through the backyard is beautiful. Good location- was easy to get everywhere. Will stay again if we are in the area. Thank you for a great experience in Traverse City!

What a wonderful place to stay! I had to make an emergency trip to Traverse City and I am so glad i found this place. I needed a place to rest for the evening and it fit everything I needed. Great shower and clean room, the owners were so very kind. If I am ever in the area again, this will be my place to stay! Thank you for making my day brighter ??

ABSOLUTELY SPOTLESS rooms. EVERYTHING you need. SUPER friendly Owners. VETERAN owned. VERY REASONABLE rates. LOTS of extras amenities like free use of kayaks, firepit/wood and chairs, charming creekside location. I've stayed here several times and my experience is ALWAYS the same...PERFECT! If I could give 10 Stars, I would.

We stayed here for an overnight while going to Torch Lake and Traverse City. It was clean, adorable, and lovely property. The office staff was so friendly and even put out a lovely light breakfast in the office this morning . So nice! Perfect for an overnight and was close to everything. Best price and they even have a fire pit and kayaks to use. This is a hidden gem for sure!

Very clean and extremely cute and comfy. Dogs absolutely loved being across the street from the beach. The staff is very nice and social able. The feel of country in the city. Took kayaks out to the lake. Area for coffee and light snacks for breakfast. Family oriented.

We had a terrific stay at Mitchell Creek Inn. The rooms and kitchen had everything we needed with plenty of space for our group. The air conditioning was strong and kept the rooms comfortable. But where Mitchell Creek Inn really shines is in the hospitality and amenities. I believe their names were Dave and Amanda, who were fantastic and super helpful and friendly every step of the way. The shared grassy area is very well kept and a pleasure to spend time in. Firewood is included as well and there is a great pit where we were able to make s’mores for the four year-old. They also offer kayaks, life jackets, and oars and it’s really just a few minute paddle to the bay, or a short walk across the street to the beach. I would definitely recommend staying at Mitchell Creek Inn to any family, for any trip when visiting Traverse City.

Was looking for a hotel close to airport to wrap up our MI vacation & this place was only 3 mins away but perfect for a last night stay. We used to complimentary kayaks & kayaked Mitchell Creek to Lake Michigan, walked to nearby restaurant for dinner then sat around the fire ring & enjoyed the weather as the sun set. Front desk service was wonderful, provided beach towels. It was just what we needed.

We stayed here last weekend and had a great time. The staff was kind and helpful. They even offered us extra beach towels to take to the lake...a whole 2 minute walk from our room! The room was very clean and comfortable. The backyard/creek area is such a nice little sanctuary. We loved being able to kayak down the creek into Lake Michigan. Bring charcoal, because they have a grill available for use!! We're already discussing coming back again this season because we had such a great time! We will definitely stay here anytime we're in Traverse City.
