Couldn’t ask for a better resort to stay at during Michigan summer! It’s the perfect blend of woods and beach, cozy and intimate and they have basketball/ tennis court, badminton, tiki bar on the water, kayaks, paddle boat, cornhole and more! The hosts are great and only 20 minutes from Traverse City. Big bonus: Dog friendly in select cabins!

What a fantastic spot to spend with the extended family! The cottages met everyone’s needs and there were more than enough activities to keep us busy the whole week. Ages ranged from 2-65. Deanie was prompt with responding and meeting any requests. It was the perfect “up north” get away mixing the joys of rustic camping with all the amenities of your own Michigan’s cabin.

Gorgeous little spot they have here. I loved that we could bring our dog instead of relying on a pet sitter. Cabin was stocked with coffee pot, microwave, stove, fridge. The only thing I think they could add is a nice fan to move the AC around and make some noise at night, but we brought our own, haha. The grounds are awesome. We didn't utilize it as much as we'd have liked since we were just there for a wedding nearby. It's so nice and quiet and tucked away. The only downside is the well water. But we brought bottled waters, which were fine. Overall I'm incredibly happy with the weekend we spent and plan to go back next summer as a family and enjoy the entire place!

This is the perfect little resort! I stayed in September with my husband and 1 year old. We stayed in Antlers, and it was perfect for the 3 of us. It was rainy and cold most of our stay, but we enjoyed walking the property anyway because the woods and water were so gorgeous! The kitchen is stocked with basic cooking supplies. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Tom and Deanie responded to questions quickly and were very kind!

Been coming here for years, get for single families or groups of families! Beautiful private beach by the lake with water floats. Cute little cabins with enough space to fit 6-8 people. Great views and quiet. Definitely a place for a weekend or longer vacation!

This place has tons of character, a true feel of the outdoors for some city slickers like ourselves. Our cottage was fantastic, pet friendly, the pup loved it. About the only thing we could complain about was one night we wanted to open our bedroom window and there wasn't a screen in the one window in our room, so we opted against that, didn't want to let mother nature in. We will be back!
