When I hear lodge my expectations for accommodations generally drops but I was beyond thrilled with Mountain Valley Lodge!! It is a medium to small facility with each of the rooms opening up to the outside which can be a turn off for some people but let me tell you the owners go above and beyond to make sure that the accommodations are outstanding. Inside every room and outside there was fresh paint, new fixtures and little touches. Something is simple as a small bench sitting outside each room made a huge difference. There is a community space with TVs and couches plus pool tables arcade games and air hockey. There's also a campground shop or you can get your t-shirts, hoodies at any other travel items you may have forgotten.... For me I forgot toothpaste ? The owners were absolutely amazing! They are considerate thoughtful and go above and beyond to make sure that guests are taken care of.

Awesome place to camp near the Sleeping Bear Dunes area. Full hookups with large and level sites for the camper, clean bathrooms and showers, a heated pool, and playground for the kids. Very quiet and peaceful. Will definitely visit here again.

Great camp sites!! Plenty of space and shade. The owners are two of the nicest people I have ever met. This is year 3 for us here and we plan on many more. The price is very reasonable and the location is wonderful.

Was looking for a place to camp at for the night before MOXC round 3 at twisted trails. Friends told us they were camping here so we decided to as well. Very happy with the site! Well maintained, clean and the onsite power and water was very grateful! lots are spacious and has lots of room for tents as well as camper if needed. very peaceful and the staff were great! only thing i wish was an option is being able to park 2 trailers on a pull through site so we could share the lot and split costs. other then that very nice place to camp at. they had showers, swimming pool and nice amenities. thank you for having us!!

We just stayed here for 6 nights. Owners were welcoming and kind upon check in. The campground was very well maintained with a good amount of trees giving good shade outside. Sites are large well maintained. We stayed across the street from the bath house and the pool. Pool was chemically checked several times a day and it was so nice. Our kids loved the pool and the space to ride bikes. Will definitely be booking here again. Reasonable rates for the site and generous wood costs as well. They drive around almost nightly and will sell you wood right at your site if you're there. $10 for a wheel barrow full and they stack it for you! Highly recommend this campground

This campground was really nice. It was new and well-maintained. The sites were very large and it was extremely quiet. The bathroom and shower rooms were very clean! The showers are the “push button” kind with only one water temperature option, which was a bit too hot most times. That is the only flaw of the entire campground. Loved our stay here. PSA the pool is closed, which is a shame because it’s a very nice pool. I hope they get the permit issue fixed soon so others can enjoy.

Kym and her boys were super friendly and attentive. They came around and asked if we needed firewood. The campsites are clean. It seems most campers are respectful, quiet, and friendly. Great experience and nicely maintained campground. We had a small group for Beer N Brats at Crystal Mountain. This was our second time camping there….will definitely be back! Thank you!!

Spent a week for a family vacation on the camp ground and loved it! It was my toddler's first camping experience and he had a blast! He loved the park and the owners! They brought him a sprinkler to play in. They are amazing and kind people! They stop by and actually acknowledge you're there. It is relaxing, friendly, and absolutely beautiful. The stars at night are so beautiful! My family (14people) had a great time and highly recommend!
