I've used Northland Vacations on several occasions to book a vacation property. The experience is far superior to companies like VRBO. They also don't add on the exorbitant fees like other companies. The ladies at Northland are friendly and so helpful. They are efficient and make the renting process simple and seamless. They will go above and beyond. The properties are always well maintained, well stocked, and nice. Northland is my go-to when I am looking for a rental in northern Michigan. I just wish they had more homes! 5 stars for sure!!

Absolutely fabulous! I try to avoid management companies when renting vacation units because typically in comparison to those privately maintained, the units are rundown, stocked minimally and with cheaper quality products, and guest attention is mediocre at best after payment is received. Nothing could be further from the truth with Northland. The team at Northland was responsive, so kind, proactive and accommodating, particularly Samantha who bent over backwards to help make our trip successful. Well done Northland, you’ve really raised the bar for your competition! Thank you!!

VRBO and this vacation rental contract states you have 3 days to pay before check in. Our reservation was canceled to non payment. We contacted the host and VRBO to remedy this. VRBO told us Northland Vacation Rentals had already booked our dates. Northland vacation rentals had no response and later states they had software issues. Due to this we booked our vacation dates with hosts in the area we trust. We later received an e-mail, from Northland Vacation rentals letting us know we had until October 4th to pay. We have already booked with a trustworthy property we have used before. We are currently in arbitration with VRBO, the Michigan State Attorney office, and Traverse City Commerce to report this business. Save yourself the headache. There are many, many different vacation rental companies in Traverse City to choose from. Northland Vacation rentals reply will be based on our not paying. This is not the case and consumer be warned.
