Guests celebrate the Old Mission Inn as a beautifully restored, historic property boasting exceptional service, delicious breakfasts, and a peaceful, scenic location with ample nearby activities.
Stayed two nights and wish we had more time to enjoy this historic Inn and it's surroundings. The setting is peaceful with a pretty water view of the lake. The owners are incredibly kind, friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the history of the Inn and it's prior owners. We had a comfortable stay and enjoyed viewing the carefully chosen antiques around the property and reading stories about past owners. The location is convenient to the peninsula lighthouse, numerous vineyards, and orchards, as well as a short scenic drive to downtown.
My husband and I went there this past weekend to celebrate our 38th anniversary of first meeting. The Inn is beautiful from the outside and it was already decorated for Halloween. The owners greeted us warmly and gave a history of the Inn. They were clearly proud of all of the work they have put into the restorations and history they had gathered, as they should be. The place was like stepping back in time, but with enough modern conveniences to make you feel comfortable. We were later greeted by the owner's son and daughter-in-law and there sweet dog. We were treated like family. I was even able to eat breakfast there, because they served real food, not processed. And breakfasts were filled with warm conversations. The front porch had rocking chairs that my husband and I sat in each evening and relaxed while watching the view of the bay. It was so nice and relaxing that it was almost sad to leave. I absolutely recommend this place!!!
Very well restored inn with a great history. Service is exceptional. Rooms are tastefully decorated. Nice quiet location.
We have had the pleasure over the years of staying at some wonderful inns. I truly believe that our stay at the Old Mission Inn was the best ever. The antiques in this wonderful Inn are a feast for the eyes! The hosts are very proud of this place and it shows when they have the opportunity to tell you the history on all of these fabulous gems. Do not miss the chance to stay here if you are in the area. You will be very pleased!
My husband and I were here to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary in May 2019. Nice big house, beautiful scenery and tasty food for breakfast. Fascinating history as well. The inn keepers were very nice. The wine trail and wineries along the way are cool. The lighthouse at the tip of the pennisula is neat.
We had a wonderful weekend staying at the Old Mission Inn! Beautiful location with an amazing view of the bay. Our room was perfect; clean, cozy, and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious too! It was such a pleasure getting to know Bruce, Angie, Tyler, and Sarah! Thank you for the hospitality and fun conversations. We look forward to our next visit and will recommend the Inn to our friends and family. - Dennis and Rachel Ross
