The place is cozy and nice … the rooms were pretty clean and decent overall. I didn’t care for the bathroom … it’s extremely small, almost claustrophobic, especially if you have young kids and need space to manage things. If you get a room with a lake view, that’s definitely the highlight … but keep in mind they charge a $10 dollars fee per night for that view. It really shouldn’t be the case, but that’s what they do. The location worked well for us … we wanted something a little outside the city, away from heavy traffic and crowds, and for the price this was a good choice. The biggest downside was that the pool and hot tub were under repair, so my kids couldn’t enjoy any swimming during our stay. Lesson learned … always call a day before arrival to confirm the pool is in service. Had we known it was out of commission, we would’ve chosen a different hotel. Breakfast was decent … pretty standard for most hotels. In the end, the location and the lake view were the main reasons we stayed here.

Great clean hotel! Staff is friendly the breakfast staff is on it making sure everyone has enough and everything is full. Would definitely stay here again. FYI: Booking direct is better

Good location and great service, especially Steve in the breakfast area. Only downside is they only have 17 channels on their TV, three of which are in Spanish (which we don't speak because this is the United States), one that's the hotel ad station, and one that's the TV guide. Also, the hot tub was out of service, which was not communicated to us before booking. For $250/night, we expected (and deserved) better. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it. Do better.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. They have a very friendly staff and the rooms were very clean as well. Steven, the breakfast guy, was extremely friendly and seemed like he really enjoyed his job. Breakfast was awesome too! I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!!

I am really impressed on the staff and hotel. It was very reasonably priced, the room was large, clean, everything you can think of they provided, checkin in was fast, check out just as quick. I am very impressed with how friendly the staff is here! I will be booking with them again.

Stayed here for work. Front desk was friendly. Bed was comfortable. I enjoyed the 24 hour hot tub and pool. Overall good stay.

I would like to say how awesome the whole staff is. Extremely nice and friendly staff. They take care of you with care and respect. I paid for over 74nights without any issues. If there was on they were ontop of it. Super clean rooms and facilities. Now Steven in the breakfast room is a godsend. This worker goes way above and beyond for the guests and the hotel. The food is always fresh, hot and full. Steven is what will brighten your day at its very start. Keep up the amazing work Steven. You sir are an asset to the company by far. 100% recommend this hotel. Thank me later

It’s not just to amenities, upgraded soaps, super soft towels, or the staff just being “friendly”. There’s pride at this property and they take care of you like a family member by anticipating needs. When I need an affordable, clean, home away from home in Traverse City, I know where I’m staying. It’s right here!

This is hands down the best sleep inn I’ve been to! The view from the hotel was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. The place was so clean and well kept I thought the property was new only to learn it is 30 yrs old. A bonus is the hot tub is open 24 hrs. Nice touches were outdoor seating for breakfast or any carry out you might bring back. Also Adirondack chairs on the hill overlooking traverse bay. Overall I would say this hotel is a great value!

My luggage smells like urine from this room. No way I will ever stay here again. The room was obviously in need of repairs. Torn wallpaper, dehumidifier running, fridge needed to be defrosted and the room REEKED of urine. I was booked my my employer for a conference. Drove 2 hours from home just to be in a stinky room for 2 days. I wasn't even comfortable having breakfast there. If the rooms are that poorly maintained I definitely didn't trust the food. Gross. I threw away my slippers because I used them to walk on the disgusting floor. I got home and my suitcase smelled like the room.
