We had a fantastic stay at the Marriott Residence Inn in Traverse City. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had a modern, minimalist vibe that made it feel both inviting and relaxing. A special shoutout goes to Irish at the front desk, who seemed to do it all. Friendly, professional, and incredibly accommodating, he went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. Another highlight was the complimentary breakfast. Unlike many hotel breakfasts, there was an impressive variety of options each morning, with plenty of choices to satisfy just about everyone. Excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and a great breakfast made this an easy 5-star stay. We would gladly stay here again the next time we’re in Traverse City. We’re also looking forward to the rooftop bar opening soon—it will be a great addition and another reason to return.

I loved my stay at Residence Inn Traverse City! The hotel was super clean and comfortable. Loved the spacious lobby and outdoor patio area. The complimentary breakfast was a great and I especially loved the oatmeal bar—it was such a simple thing, but honestly a delicious way to start my day. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Traverse City!

This is a wonderful hotel. The two young men in the morning who worked breakfast and the front desk are terrific! It is followed by an evening staff of equally great young ladies who are also excellent. We were there for a week and enjoyed the hotel tremendously. Looking forward to a return in the fall to enjoy the new rooftop bar! Cheers and thank you!!!

Loved our stay! Husband had a 2 week project so I came with him. Our suite was comfortable, spacious, and very clean. All the clerks were nice and helpful, but Irish went above and beyond! Always made sure I had hot water in the morning for my hot chocolate, getting it from the kitchen if the one at the station wasn't quite hot enough to mix and dissolve. We just loved him, friendly and informative and so easy and comfortable to talk to. He really helps start your day off right!

We just stayed here for a Hockey jamboree and we'll definitely be back next year! It's a new hotel at the time so I cant say how well its upkept but everything was spotless and super nice! Our room was amazing for the price! Staff was accommodated our team very well! And the soundproofing is well thought out! We were right next to the elevators and never heard them! Almost never heard kids in the hall! And inside the pool area was soo loud with all the kids but in the hallway you barely heard them!!

First time stay at this brand new hotel. From check-in to departure everyone was genuinely helpful and the facilities were fresh and in great shape. An added bonus is that they stock Moomers in their marketplace! The only negative for us is the blinking light of the smoke detector and nightlight in the bathroom that kept use from having a pitch black environment. Will stay again as it is very convenient for early TVC flights.

My wife, kids and I stayed here the week before Thanksgiving and the stay was perfect! Not only is the hotel beautiful, clean, and very comfortable, the staff were amazing! From Tyler the GM who made our check-in effortless at 1am. To Elloh the chef going above and beyond making sure we had breakfast even though we came down late most days. And the gentlemen Irish at the front desk who was so kind to our kids! This hotel is a great addition to the Traverse City area! 10/10

Such a beautiful addition to Traverse City! I stay in a lot of Marriott hotels, and this one, by far, is a favorite. The rooms are nice and spacious, and the kitchens have pretty much everything that you need to feel right at home. So much so, I wanted to stay longer and not go back to reality. Can't wait to visit again during the summer!

Wonderful new hotel. Feels very fresh and clean. Breakfest is great to start off the day. The gentleman at the Front Desk was great. Has a great nickname Irish. He was very funny,polite,and professional. Made my day. Need more employees like him.

What a phenomenal addition to Traverse City! From the moment I walked in, I could tell this hotel was something special. The lobby is inviting, the suites are thoughtfully laid out, and every detail—from the bedding to the kitchen amenities—feels premium. The team here is incredibly attentive and truly cares about guest comfort. It’s the perfect home-away-from-home for longer stays, and I’m already planning my next visit summer 2026. Highly recommended!
