Seasons Inn offers a budget-friendly option in Traverse City with recent guests praising its cleanliness and comfortable beds. However, some reviews highlight noise issues, maintenance concerns, and limited staff availability. Overall, it seems to be a good value, but with some areas needing improvement.
Rooms were clean and staff was very polite. The hotel was right across from the lake and it was overall a nice environment. Price was really good for an outstanding hotel. They had a continental breakfast, nothing too fancy but pretty nice for the price you pay. Overall it was a great stay and I plan on coming back when I'm on business again in traverse.
Clean, comfortable room. Welcomed my pet, no hassles. Did have a bit of a wait to get checked in, but what the heck, no worries! Room had plenty of nice, thick, soft towels and washcloths. Great hot water, and a comfortable bed. Zero complaints here….. Will definitely stay again if in the area…..
Husband and I wanted a quick 1 night stay in TC for the ball drop. Hotel was fine, really. Some of the reviews scared us a little bit initially but when we got there the room was clean, looked modern, and was exactly what we needed for a one night crash pad. The rooms were stocked with pillows, towels, and the pump kind of soaps in the bathroom and it was lemon which was great. However, I endured the worst possible night’s sleep due to the constant noise all over the hotel. Doors slamming, music playing, people in the halls, there is absolutely no sound protection at all there. Kept waking up thinking someone was opening OUR door but it was a neighbors. It was constant noise. The beds are also the type where if you move, you’re likely to wake your partner. Noisy and unbelievably soft. Almost too soft. I also would like to note as soon as you leave the lobby, all you smell is mildew. The ice machine was visibly saturated with growing black mold, and its almost like theres poor ventilation for the pool or something cause the mildew is so strong we actually came home smelling like it. The office gentleman was nice but as other reviews state, have to call the phones to get his attention as he was never at the desk. I assume its a one man operation. Parking was not great. Driveway was barely plowed and minimal spaces to work with overall. It was nice and close to downtown TC though! Only about a 15 minute drive.
I have stayed at this hotel several times. I am always pleasantly surprised. Priced reasonablly. Located directly across from Traverse Bay, just down the street from a Tom's Grocery store, a 3 minute drive from Cuppa Joe coffee shop. The hotel has a pool and hot tub. The rooms are newer in design with higher comfortable beds, wooden floors. I think of Seasons Inn as a hidden jewel of Traverse City!
This affordable hotel was spotlessly clean, staff very friendly & helpful, offering help and very thoughtful. Beds are super comfortable, rooms look modern and nicely decorated. Wood floors make for a clean space, but they were definitely chilly! A runner rug would be a really great addition in the colder months. I've stayed in hotels that are newer, fancier, and more modern... but despite it's age, and less than ideal location, this was the cleanest place I've seen in a long time. In room coffee, fridge & microwave, super cute bathroom layout and tub with seat. The pool & hot tub were so clean, not over chlorinated and WARM! The pool didn't require "getting used to" and the hot tub was hot! The only disappointment in this area is not having chairs/tables for my towel and belongings. There's a toilet right by the pool which was nice for changing, but a chair would have been helpful there, too. I haven't had breakfast, but it doesn't matter... I'd stay again in a heartbeat based on the cleanliness and super value overall. I saved enough staying here to have a full breakfast wherever. If you're looking for fancy... keep moving. If you're looking for value and everything you need for a great night's sleep, look no further!
You get what you pay for. Room was clean. Shower was nice. Mattresses are extremely soft, so if you prefer anything that is at all firm, this is not for you. Hotel is on the older side and right next door to a seedy motel. There was never anyone at the front desk. You have to use the phone to call for everything from check in to change for the vending machine. The hot tub was hot, but the jets don't work. The pool and hot tub show visible signs of wear and chipping. There were towels. The coffee in the lobby was good. Went to look for some plastic utensils to use in our room and they were all locked away. The TV only got antenna TV, not internet channels. The night stand and clock were unplugged. I don't see the owner doing much to maintain this property. If you travel with a pet, it is pet friendly and they allow two.
At first glance, the room appeared clean; however, the bathroom shelf where the clean towels were displayed was covered in dirt and dust that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. It really made me question the cleanliness of the towels provided. The TV remote also didn’t work, and attempts to reach the front desk for help were unsuccessful—it was never staffed, so there was no way to report the issues. Overall, a disappointing stay that could be easily improved with better housekeeping and guest support.
