We were leaving Canada and looking for a resort getaway somewhere abroad, and we were lucky enough to find the amazing Shoestring Resort. We spent a full week here and couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and well taken care of. The service was consistently excellent, with friendly faces and helpful assistance whenever we needed it. The resort itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and has a relaxing atmosphere that made our stay incredibly comfortable. We enjoyed every moment—from the peaceful surroundings to the great amenities and activities. Everything turned out even better than we expected, and we left feeling refreshed and completely satisfied. Highly recommend Shoestring Resort to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable vacation!

Stayed here for a few months after I sold my home waiting for my new home to be ready, I was disappointed with the water quality. After reading one of the past reviews I tested the water with a TDS meter it tested over 500 :0. I also had problems with the refrigerator quitting multiple times. When I notified management they told me to just use coolers and thaw the refrigerator out and try it again. I also had an electrical fire in the kitchen. At least there was a fire extinguisher there. That front trailer is kind of a death trap. Ended up staying with family after the fire. Just didn't feel safe.

I reserved over a week in advance, paid a deposit, and I was left without a place to stay after driving for 5 hours. No one was there when I arrived for my reservation, and no one answered my call or returned my voicemail. It was difficult to make a reservation, as when I called the first time 2 weeks before, I was promised a callback that I never received. When I finally made the reservation, they asked me to bring my own towels. I would not recommend counting on the people running this place.

Recently had the privilege of staying in one of the cabins at the shoestring resort. Was so happy with the accommodations that my fiancee and I will be returning again in the near future. The cottage was convenient, comforting, clean, and well equipped with all the essentials. The host was great, she answered all the questions I had about the area, rivers, lakes, etc. , also pet friendly which was a plus. Great stay for pet lovers. Highly recommend this place.

Absolutely amazing place to stay! I stayed for a week with my family and our 2 dogs and we were so happy! This was the 3rd or 4th time my family and I have stayed here and we will keep coming back year after year. Management is great and the cottages are fully furnished and the perfect place to call home away from home.
