We took a weekend get away with our 16-year old grandson and we all loved Silver Birch Resort. Lovely, big domes, many special decorating and comfort touches. Close enough to Traverse Cith, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Elk Rapids for a full but not overfull weekend of activities--just right. I highly recommend Silver Birch for great service, rooms, and location.

I couldn't write a more positive review. I stayed here (Dome 8) alone for the weekend. Ventured to Traverse City for a bit on Saturday and went to the casino later in the night which was just like a mile away (Turtle Creek). What a comfy, cozy, BEAUTIFUL place to stay.... and take a bath! LOL. Huge plus was that the water pressure was GREAT and it heated up very quickly. AN OASIS OF SERENITY

A wonderful experience, best glamping I have done so far. I love the serenity of the dome and porch, with the added convenience of running water, kitchen, ac and heater. I absolutely loved staying here, so cozy.

It is increasingly difficult to find a peaceful, luxurious place to get away from it all within thirty minutes of Traverse City. However this relative newcomer to the area is a true hidden gem. Every view is thoughtfully curated to make you feel as if you're the only one in the world, and the dome structures are beautiful inside and out, with designer grade wooden furniture made by the resort owner. The outdoor private bathtub is a particular delight. Fully equipped kitchen, strong WiFi, excellent water pressure and both air conditioning and heating. We tested both, as it got down into the 50s at night and the high 70s when we stayed (Mid August '25). This place won't stay hidden for long.

An unexpected and completely beautiful experience! Wow! The dome was amazing- beautifully decorated, super cozy and immaculate. A wonderful space for our honeymoon. We enjoyed the TC area, the wineries and Elk Rapids and had a fire each night. The property is so beautiful. Highly recommend!! ?

We have stayed here twice! We love it so much. It’s clean and plenty of hot water. There is wood for a fire and little welcome amenities like wine and s’mores. It’s close to wineries, hiking, turtle casino and downtown traverse city. Scott is so friendly and nice and replied to anything we needed ASAP. Can’t recommend staying here enough! Every dome is very private. The AC worked well. It’s the best way to “camp”.
