almost 2 years agoSleeping Bear Hideaway Cabins are a pristine retreat! The entire property is spotlessly clean, from the well-equipped cabins to the meticulously maintained grounds. We loved the complimentary boats and spent hours kayaking around the glassy, still lake, marveling at the beauty. We even saw beavers eating lily pad flowers! The experience was so serene, I didn’t want to come in from the lake. The cabins are thoughtfully equipped with comfortable beds and all the amenities needed for a perfect stay. I could have stayed forever. I highly recommend this place for an unforgettable getaway!

over 3 years agoWe loved our stay at Sleeping Bear Hide-a-way. Cabins are small but well equipped. Great views right on Little Platte Lake. Lots of fun things to do with kayaks, fishing boats, shuffleboard, tether ball and bean bag toss. Beth was super easy to work with and the communication was outstanding.

over 4 years agoWONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! Everything was perfect! Clean, comfortable beds, new bathroom/kitchen/appliances and you're just a short drive to everything in the surrounding area. These cabins are in a peaceful setting with beautiful views and friendly/respectful guests. Max is the very best doggo host. I can't wait to go back.

almost 5 years agoNice family get away! Had 8- 8th graders and they all had a blast while fishing, kayaking and other activities. Clean cabins on a quiet lake. Friendly staff. Only complaints would be tiny bathrooms and not enough lighting on walking areas.

A beautiful, tranquil hideaway just minutes from sleeping bear dunes, and right on little platte lake. free kayaking/boating. charcoal grills. cheap firewood. and best of all, the cabins are the cutest, cleanest, most well-appointed cottages I've ever seen. Beds were comfy and warm. insulation, a/c and heating were awesome. I literally have zero complaints and would love to go back, like tomorrow!

almost 8 years agoThis place is amazing. It is so beautiful; tucked away on a small lake just minutes from other great Michigan destinations. The cabins surround a small beach offering kayaks, paddle boat, while each has a rowboat as well. I highly recommend staying here. The owner is so accommodating, friendly, and nice. You need look no further for a place to stay; this place is perfect!
