Stayed the night in May 2026. Loved the room and view of the lake. The evening cookie was a nice little treat and tried some of the moomer’s ice cream too! Enjoyed sitting on the greens and reading was really nice.

Our girls’ weekend at Beach Haus Resort was absolutely wonderful. We stayed in the newly renovated Penthaus Suite, and it felt more like a luxury waterfront condo than a hotel suite. The renovation is beautifully done, with stylish finishes, spacious living areas, and a bright, upscale atmosphere throughout. One of our favorite features was the two private outdoor terraces, which offered stunning views and the perfect setting for morning coffee, afternoon relaxation, and evening conversations overlooking the bay. The suite was impeccably clean, thoughtfully designed, and provided plenty of space for our group to spread out while still enjoying time together. The beachfront location is ideal, peaceful and scenic, yet just minutes from all that Traverse City has to offer. From the breathtaking water views to the high-end accommodations, every aspect of our stay felt special. If you’re looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Traverse City, the Penthaus Suite at Beach Haus Resort is truly exceptional. We can’t wait to return!

We had so much fun on our stay. The location is wonderful. You'll get some traffic noise because it's right on the highway. I sleep soundly so I honestly didn't notice. It might not be the right choice for a light sleeper, but my husband and I were unbothered. The bed was comfortable. Our room was clean. The view from our balcony was breathtaking. It's only 15 min from downtown. It's maybe 5 to 10 minutes from most of the parks.

Our stay here was great. The staff were very warm and welcoming. I rather enjoyed the free cookies and coffee. I only give the room a 4 star rating because the bathroom to our room wasn’t completely clean. There was hair on the walls and door of the bathroom. Luckily, we happened to have some disinfectant wipes with us and it was easy to clear up. I didn’t want to bother housekeeping since we checked in at like 7pm. Other than that, everything about the Beach Haus was perfect. We will definitely be returning with our kids for the summer.

Excellent casual hotel, good value, great location for a day at the wineries. Front desk staff were outstanding. Gavina answered the call from our rainy campsite, and let us check in early so we could shower. That was so appreciated. She was responsive and friendly. Room was a good size and very comfortable. Somewhat dated but so what. Pretty clean besides some corners :)

We absolutely loved our stay at The Beach Haus! The hotel and grounds are absolutely beautiful — everything is so well kept and thoughtfully designed. The location couldn’t be more perfect, and being right on the water made the entire experience feel so peaceful and special. The views are truly breathtaking, and we found ourselves constantly stopping just to take them in. Every detail of our stay felt relaxed and welcoming — we can’t wait to come back!

Clean beach resort hotel. Great view of the lake facing north. A breakfast box is delivered to your room. There are several options to choosing the type of breakfast you will receive. My wife chose the breakfast sandwich box and I chose the two boiled eggs & yogurt box. They have great coffee in the lobby made from Brazil.

For on-the-water location, The Beach Haus is great. Incredible views, great sand beach, close to the airport. However, the hallways are loud because of the hard flooring that has no sound dampening qualities (all noise occurring in the hallways makes its way to the rooms), the rooms are dated and there is not much some deadening between them, the kitchenette is missing some really basic amenities (can opener, cutting board, measuring cup, coffee mugs), and what's included is the cheapest of cheap. Also, the kitchenette is surprisingly narrow, almost claustrophobically so. The included breakfast is prepackaged and meh at best. The staff is very friendly and approachable. See image for the many missing vertical blinds in room 214... Not much privacy. It's a value motel with value qualities... With the right expectations it's acceptable.

This resort exceeded expectations for a peaceful and beautiful vacation spot! The staff were accommodating and helpful. I loved the free cookies and coffee. The balconies on the second floor are roomy and expansive. The rooms were clean and mostly updated. You could see partial views of both sunrises and sunsets.

This resort has to be one of the friendliness place I have stayed at in a long time. The front desk staff were amazing, Devon & Kyle. Always a friendly smile on their face, and went beyond what we expected to make our stay amazing. The room was very clean and the bathroom looked newly remolded. The view of the Bay was spectacular from our room. The beach area had plenty of chairs and was clean. The staff let my granddaughter use the beach before check-in until we arrived. Check-in was earlier than what we expected. I highly recommend this resort to be your next vacation get-a-way, you won't regret it. Breakfast was delivered to our room at the time we checked on our order, all free.
