Barry greeted my daughter and I warmly and with some great music stories, including a dinner event he attended with Ted Nugent! We were in Interlochen to attend the Toad the Wet Sprocket, Sixpence None the Richer and The Jayhawks concerts. We spent two nights and thoroughly enjoyed end Unit 12, which was very clean, had cozy beds, and was very quiet. I highly recommend this motel for the hospitality and comfort it offers; it is located just down the road from the gorgeously stunning outdoor Interlochen concert venue and only 20 miles from beautiful Traverse City!

Stayed here with my son for a concert down the road. Great location, cute "up north" motel. Yes, rooms are a little small, but not cramped. Most importantly, everything was very clean. The owners were friendly and the price was fair. Would stay here again, for sure.

We were coming up to Interlochen to see a concert, so the location was great. Overall I enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. There were a few minor things that I would say kept me from giving 5 stars on the rooms. There wasn't any shampoo or conditioner. The pillows were pretty flat and only 2 per bed. I'm sure I could have gotten more, so that was on me, but in most places I stay there are always 4 pillows on the bed. Since it was just my wife and I and the room had 2 beds, it wasn't really an issue. Other than than, the rooms were very clean and nice.

Nice location for concerts at Interlochen or a quick drive up to Traverse City. Very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Our room was clean and just what we needed.

We stayed 2 nights July 28th & 29th 2025 to do golfing in the area. The room was extremely small and the misty smell was overwhelming. I do not like to leave these kind of review but to be honest it was quit bad.
