Guests praise this Loop Downtown property for its immaculate condition and unbeatable proximity to downtown shops, though several recent reviews identify challenges with car parking and kitchen functionality.
Room was great location is nice and close to downtown. Would be nice to see parking in the future. Only thing we didn't like was the view out the windows/patio door was a tarp and construction equipment. Otherwise we had a great time and would visit again. Everything is White thou so I wouldn't bring kids.
So- read the other reviews. Price is fine but you get what you paid for. Nothing else. There’s a sofa( uncomfortable), one chair, a queen platform bed, small pillows, and relatively soft, 2 bedside tables maybe a foot square, big enough for a phone and not much else. There is no stand to put suitcases. It all goes on the bare floors. The sink vanity is minimal. Not enough for two persons to share space. The fully stocked kitchen isn’t. There’s no way to cook a meal really. Lots of pots and pans. No baking sheet. One salad bowl. One colander. One wine glass. 12 coffee cups, and just as many glasses. If you’re a skiier this place is not for you. If you want to have friends over at the end of the day there is nowhere for them to sit. If you wanted to order pizzas or buy frozen there is nothing to put them on but the oven rack and melt cheese all over. When we asked why there was no pizza pan or cutter we were told that was a premium. Same with a scissors. Apparently dry towels were as well. We found out our bath towels had been put under the sink while still wet when we showered in the morning. No excuses for this except that was probably a premium requirement. This place is investor owned and are living in California. Frequent a different establishment and support Traverse City not carpet baggers. Btw. Parking is not that easy as reviews said. The lot across the alley is full early street parking is only 10 hrs as are most public lots. There are places but they a a half mile walk. Find somewhere else. The stay may not be as cheap but it will be worth it. This place is not!
Our recent stay was fantastic! The location was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. We didn't need to extend any kind of communication as everything was super easy. The place was very nice, comfortable and clean. We would 100% stay at this location again!
This was our first time in Traverse City and it was an amazing experience! The room was large and spacious, very clean! Our bed was extremely comfortable!! It was located in proximity to almost everything! I would stay here again! The only downfall is parking so you can park in the parking lot next to it from 4 PM to 7 AM but then you have to move by 7am to meter parking on the street which during the late fall season was easy, but I am sure during summer months, it would be much harder to find parking. Communication with the host was amazing and they were very attentive! Definitely give the whole experience 10/10
A great place to stay in Traverse City. The set up with a full kitchen with utensils and dishwasher would be great for longer term stays. Not getting the building and door codes until a half hour before check in was a bit worrisome. The bedroom has no folding rack for a suitcase or a dresser but it does have a spacious closet with plentiful hangers. A short video showing the virtual check in process would have been helpful for those who are not familiar with one as detailed as theirs. The parking across the alley is by permit only so be aware. Just across State St is a municipal lot where you can pay through the Park Mobile app at a very moderate cost.
This is a great spot to vacation in downtown TC. The Main Street is very close and walkable, which is what we were looking for. The unit itself is very nice and clean. There is a public parking lot directly across the alley that we used. There was kitchenware available, as well as a coffee maker, teapot, and pots & pans. We would have liked a toaster, but used the oven to toast bagels. We would definitely book this again!
Place was super clean and very nice!!! The location was perfect. Easy one or two min walk to all the best spots and the beach!! They thought of everything you would need with one exception no washcloths. I highly recommend this place to stay!! And the price was amazing we will be back
