I had a great 2 night stay at The Sierra. Service is excellent and friendly. The rooms are designed well with a cozy mid century vibe throughout. I stayed during a slower part of the season, but would gladly return, any time of year.

Loved the stay here! The rooms are simple yet SO cute! The attention to detail and decor as so fun and just a vintage vibe! They are also pet friendly which was perfect for my friend and both our dogs! We stayed 3 nights and had no complaints at all. Felt very safe too. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating leading up to our stay! Will definitely stay here again!

Fabulous place to stay. We had a one night room on our road trip to upper peninsula. This place was so unique. Beautiful room and the owners were so pleasant to talk to. The lobby was set so nice in the Christmas theme. I brought my own traveling Christmas tree and lighted garland with us too. The room was clean and brought us down memory lane with the furniture and color decor.

LOVE LOVE LOVED The Sierra! Husband and I were vacationing all around Michigan and The Sierra was our favorite place that we stayed. The owners clearly put a lot of effort and thought into the renovations because the decor was beyond adorable without going so far as to feel like a spoof of the 50’s. Room was comfortable and the cleanest we encountered in our travels. I will 100% choose to stay here again next time we’re in town.

We were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived on how meticulously clean the room is. The room decors easily outclass a lot of the hotels that we’ve ever stayed in! Surely a very well maintained and kept up Motel! We will definitely be coming back and we’ll be letting everyone know about this Sierra Motel! Everything at the Sierra Motel is exactly as advertised and then some once you arrive. Check in is friendly, thorough yet brief and you’re on your way to find your room. Again, exactly as pictured but so much more fun to actually experience. The decor is great; the level of cleanliness is amazing. Location is ideal for exploring TC be it the downtown or surrounding areas or the peninsulas. So happy we chose the Sierra!

Enjoyed a wonderful stay at this little gem! Our room had absolutely everything we needed and was immaculate. We loved the decor both inside and outside and the bed was extremely comfortable. The couple that own and operate the motel were extremely nice and accommodating. Highly recommend a stay here and will definitely return if ever in the Traverse City area. Give it a try. You won’t regret it!

The Sierra Motel is a quality motel! This is why I'm rating it five stars: -Comfortable king size bed -The room was in perfect condition....absolutely no repairs needed -Spotlessly clean -Keurig, microwave, and frig included -Friendly staff -Reasonable price

Clean and inviting property. Great location, thoughtful staff and amenities, especially for the money.

The Sierra Motel exceeded my expectations. Super clean & had everything I could have needed. I will definitely return.
